Jewelry Design by Marnie Sharp - Necklaces Marnie is a gem and mineral enthusiast. She started designing necklaces while working at a gem show, in order to pass the time. "It was inspiring to be surrounded by so many dealers with wonderful beads and ideas. It was nearly impossible to say no to creating something." Her work utilizes a lot of natural materials other than stone, like wood, bone, and even ostrich egg. Copper is another element often found in her work, as she enjoys the warm, earthy tones it imparts.
